Perspective . . .

Every once in a while Heavenly Father will put something in your life to remind you how easy you really have it. Today I found out one of my best friends from when I was 10 years old and whom I dearly love and keep in contact with was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer -- her samples have been sent to the Mayo Clinic for testing. There are only 26 documented cases of her type of cancer, and it doesn't respond well to chemo or radiation. The majority of cases treated relapse within 5 years and she has a 50% chance of living longer than 5 years. She has three young children and is going to Boise State University to complete her nursing degree. Her husband is still in school and manager of a restaraunt.

I know that MY life has been drama lately -- lots of work and stress into the YW activity, then we move straight on into job searching, followed by getting my wisdom teeth out. I was starting to think I couldn't handle any more drama drama. Well guess what -- all of a sudden I have perspective. I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone and just remind them to not judge others and their life decisions or be hard on them -- we have no idea what challenges and trials that person or family is having to deal with that you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.

ok, i'm off my soapbox. please pray for my friend heather.
