After a day or two I'll post an update about why I'm doing this.
update: so, this is my best attempt at drawing a fish/whale. Ellie has a book that has a big whale that makes a big splash and she loves it. We were in the middle of church and I was drawing things that Ellie knows the name of, i.e. ball, bike, car, etc., and I pull this one out for "fish". All of a sudden she says WAY LOUD, "Cracker!!!! Cracker, Cracker!" right in the middle of church. That wasn't my first intent, but obviously she wasn't the only one who either thinks my drawing is bad or is very food oriented. :-)
My word is goldfish (like in the crackers)

ReplyDeleteSince I just discovered your site via my husband...this is a late post, but I died laughing-we have had to hide our daughter's magna doodle because all she does is make us write letters, or draw owls and cats (both awake and asleep). It sounds like she and Ellie would get along JUST FINE, so when you move out to Poky, we'll have to all get together. Our girl, Samantha (sam, sammi, whatever) turns 2 on April 7.
