Now that we returned to the West we once again have discovered the beauty of four-day weekends to Las Vegas. This time was spring break for the girls so we could bring them down without them having to skip school. Anyway - we had a great time. All the family was there except the brother on a mission and my older sister. For the first time my SILs planned the weekend -- so we weren't just sitting around the houses all day. 
So on Saturday we went to an awesome park and played kickball as a whole family and on Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt (Ellie's first!!!Adorable!). It was commendable that my brothers were willing to DVR the college basketball games so we could all go do stuff as a family. 
(just as an update, my NCAA brackets are ranked in the 98th percentile out of 2 million people who submitted brackets on Yahoo!--out of all the years I've placed $ on my bracket the year I don't bet is the year my bracket kicks butt!!) Anyway we still found time to play in the pool, which was freezing, but that didn't stop ellie one bit. We couldn't find her swimsuit but that couldn't keep her from the water, Darik couldn't keep her out of the pool. Only when I was sure she was going to get hyperthermia did we pull her out, and even then she cried and threw a tantrum that we took her out.
