Life's A Beach

Last week we went to the beach at Palo Lake with one of my best friends Amy and her kids, Laura and Towbyn (el's bfriend). The beach was practically empty, and the water was warm. Ideally that's how life should be, surrounded by friends, not to many other people up in your business, and perfect weather conditions. For the first time Ellie got to float around in one of those baby boats -- the independence was sweet (for her!). After she got out she decided she didn't want Mama to hold her anymore and she tried to wriggle her way out into the 4 foot deep water. Needless to say we left shortly thereafter.
