Here is a picture of me cheese-ballin' it with my pet-for-a-day, Maverik. Tuesday night Darik was out mowing the lawn and found this bad boy (bad girl?) just hanging out in the corner of our backyard. This morning he was still there, but by 10 am rolled around he had hightailed it away from us. I couldn't find him (her?) anywhere and looked everywhere hoping that he doesn't wander into the street and get run over. I don't know if he's (she's?) someone's lost pet or a wild turtle (do they have those?) . . . Anyway, Maverik, if you're reading this -- come home!! Or at least look both ways before you cross the street!
