I don't know what is up with my kid. She doesn't like toys!!! She likes to climb, discover, destroy, build, scribble, and push buttons. Almost none of those things involves a toy of any kind! My SIL made Ellie the cutest little scrapbook that she loves to look at; but last week I also discovered she loves to pull every page out of the plastic sleeves, and tear everything off of the pages . . . it took me at least an hour to reassemble and use pkg tape to seal all the pages shut! Anyway, we have our toy room and we don't have tons of stuff -- most are hand-me-downs from others or Superdeals from garage sales -- but she won't touch anything unless there's potential for her to tear it apart and figure out how it works or push it's buttons to make it do something. I don't know why I have a kid that hates toys but loves to help unload the dishwasher and pretend to clean!!?!! When we have moolah again maybe I'll go to KBToys and see if there's something that fits the bill -- until then I'll get some use out of my Super-30 pound-roll of Kraft paper.
