I'm a Convert

A convert to Fall. I previously posted how much I don't like fall because it's just a bitter, chilly preview of the nasty winter that's coming. I've changed my mind. Iowa has had an unseasonably warm autumn. During thanksgiving we were out at the park playing around in just our long-sleeve tshirts. Only in the last day or two has the second nasty cold front of the year really hit. Since it's December I'd say I'm counting my blessings. Anyway, my conversion to loving Autumn this year was gradual, but I starting bringing my camera along with me on walks and these are a few of the shots I was able to take. Enjoy the beautiful Iowa Fall!

    Krissy!
Even though it was Thanksgiving when I was at your house...I loved the weather and the feeling of being "deep" into fall. The woods at the end of your street were unbelieveable and took me back to my "kid" days. I'm convinced that every kid should have a grove of trees like that as they grow up (sorry Honey that I didn't give that to you). You know your Daddy is a full-blown devotee of Autumn...it's the only time of the year you can smell "football in the air"!
Mom and I had beautiful colors on our trees this year...although I'm not sure it was quite as pretty up Buckskin Road this fall as it was last year.
