i find it funny
That I can bribe my kid to take a nap by promising the library. Up until that moment she was still letting me know she wouldn't be closing her eyes for ONE SECOND! I mention the library for little girls who take naps and she immediately closes her eyes and falls asleep faster than you can say "night night".

I've never even considered taking Jayda to the library. What do you do there (that's a dumb question, I know.) Do you read to her, or are there events like storytime etc. I'm intrigued.
ReplyDeleteso neat to have kids that love books--unless they are the wrong books. I remember times when we would all be in our separate corners with a book and when it was Work and the Glory we would fight for the time to read first. Makes for a better time in school when they love to read.
ReplyDeleteSo I had to find your old blog about the library to tell you that I finally took Jayda and it was awesome! We read, she played, she watched the interactive stories on the computer while I read my book, I loved it! We probably could have stayed a lot longer. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that's our new hangout, so we should meet sometime for storytime!
