guess what, I'm not fired!

For those of you who know I had a part-time job @ ISU accounting office. When Taysha went to juvenile detention my life was a little crazy, we went on vacation, and then my supervisor had a baby, and the one week I went in they said there wasn't work for me. Well I did email my boss once and he never emailed back. So a few weeks later I called and left a message, still nothing. So I accepted a job watching a baby 3 days a week. Then I hear from the baby's grandma (who I worked with @ ISU) that the other day my boss was wondering if I was going to come into work!!!??! So I called and left another message. Shortly after he called and he wasn't sure if I just quit and I wasn't sure if I was fired, but he said they had an open spot in the cashier's office and asked if I could come in on Fridays. I agreed. I need a day where I get out of the house. So last week was my first time there and I think it'll work out just fine. Funny how things work themselves out. I have also decided to put my MBA plans on hold for a few more years -- the experience with Taysh taught me the value of constant vigilance of childrearing during the earliest years!
