Memory Lane

I just did this on my friends blog and loved it ~ What a fun thing to have friends and families memories of you! So here goes...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

  1. Of course my fave memory of us is (Holding a frgid smile on our faces... and saying) "Hola, Como Estas?" We thought we were SOOO funny- and nobody else got it :(
I remember in Senior Espanol talking about descriptions we wanted for our story (one that we had to write completely in Spanish)- and I wanted to know the word "fluffy"- You and I were laughing so hard at our story and that developed into my nickname for Senora Owens. "FOFA!"
Ahhh... so fun is 5 years of Spanish with Kristine!

  2. I remember being friends in junior high and high school, And working together at Wal-mart in rexburg. But My mot recent memoriy is from about a year ago when we ran into each other at sister city park, and sitting and talking while our kids played.

  3. I never really got to know you in high school or anything, but I can tell you that I really look forward to reading your posts! You have an amazing talent for the written word!

  4. I have wonderful memories of us from Rexburg and high school, but one that stands out was one year for christmas your family did the 12 days of christmas for us. You guys are so amazing and really made an impact on us of serving others!

  5. Oh man Kris, I don't even know where to start!

Jumping on your tramp for hours, discussing our fear of spiders.

Our first discussion of Arctic Circle!

Riding in the back of your station wagon listening to kid songs "pack it...?"

    Jerry Seinfeld

Walking in the coldest weather imaginable to the bus stop for three years.

Standing on the benches and singing our lungs out at girls camp.

I love you for all the memories!

  6. Ahhh, My lovely Kristine! I have to admit the first thing that comes to mind is always the yellow sweats! I remember from about 4th grade on you and I were always in the same group of friends, even though that group seemed to change from time to time.

Do you remember hanging out with Molly Banta? And when everyone was getting their ears pierced?

How bout my Halloween party and you got so mad because you thought you had kissed my moms foot!

    Weird Al Yankovic

Rusty and his crooked smile (he isn't mean, it's an overbite!)

    Dying hair at girls camp

our annual trips to grocery outlet for "supplies" before we went to girls camp

jumping from your deck to the trampoline

    HOLY BREATH-SPRAY in junior high!

I could probably go on and on, but I need to get to bed sometime tonight!

  7. Staying up late playing cards, eating your yummy lasagna, and telling stories of how we all met and dated etc. Good times, good times. You HAVE got to come and visit!!
