Thanksgiving 2008

After football was over we loaded up everyone in Jon's SUV and left for Ogden, somehow my aunt & uncle ended up hosting my WHOLE family (+ a few more extra extended fam members). Well, they recently moved here from St. Louis and I hadn't been to their house before. (They were our closest fam members while we were out in Iowa - so we went there for thanksgivings, new years, and they were the only ones there for Elle's blessing -- I LOVE these relatives!!). Anyways my mom also pulled out a miracle by somehow arranging all 6 of her kids (+ spouses + 10 gkids + 3 babies on the way) to come home for thanksgiving. (Em didn't come down to Ogden but was there the rest of the time). Anyways this pic below around the table was the first time we'd all been in one place . . . I'd say for about 3 years. It was nice. But alas, VERY crazy! My sis' kids weren't there but were stuck with their dad (stupid custody dispute) so we missed them and had to end up skipping family pictures. We DID have tons of fun, though. I look forward to visiting them in Vegas (hopefully next year). Dinner was delicious and Aunt Jackie was amazing . . . we can't wait to go down and visit one-on-one with them another time. Then we headed back to Poky for just general hanging out - we went to the ISU v. BYU bball game and all had great seats. Needless to say, Jon was right when he said it was the best 20-point game he'd ever been to. It was a lot of fun. Then another night all of us kids (& spouses) went to the Twilight movie. It was my 2nd time seeing it and I must say it was 10x better on the second go round.

(Getting ready to go to Twilight!)
