Well, the flux capacitor is actually working, and D didn't even have to go 88 MPH!!! While we were loading up the moving van on the 3rd (I can't believe that was a whole month ago!) the men decided that they are major wusses and didn't want to bring the piano outside down the front steps and up the moving van ramp -- so they wuss out (not that I blame them, I wouldn't want to throw my back out either, yo) and convince darik to back up a 26-foot moving van up to our front porch. As they are directing him back I hear three or four well-intentioned guys yell, "give it more gas!! give it more gas!!!!" I peek around the corner of the garage just in time to see 4 inches deep and 6 feet long of grass and sod be decimated . . . and this happens 6 hours after we list our home with a realtor. Jeez. As much as we appreciate the free help, and as much as it is our fault for having such dang heavy stuff---hopefully next time we can pay for movers (ya know the ones that wear weight belts to help them lift pianos cuz they do it for a living!!!?!) . . . . :-)
