On our trip to LA we spent some time at some beaches (Laguna, Newport) and this is a video of seriously the most scary moment of my life. All I can say is that if you are standing in 2 feet of water in the ocean you are still in danger of being wiped out by a wave and possibly having the undertow drag you back out so be careful. p.s. make sure if you've been wiped out while holding a two year old, you hang on to her while you're both under the water -- otherwise it's adios, toddler!
