Ok so I'm way behind on blogging, but I'll catch up quick . . . . so back to November, and . . . Turkey Day!!! i.e. Thanksgiving, i.e. Darik's birthday this year!
This year I had pie duty, and I had FUN making LOTS of pies. Since it was D's bday he requested his all-time favorite -- his mom's chocolate chip pie -- which turned out to be a smashing success.
Anyway, the day started with early-morning football at the elementary school. Since our ward is newly-created, Darik was able to implement the 11th Ward Elder's Quorum First Annual Turkey Bowl!
