Calendaring

Well, here we are, halfway through Darik's busiest part of the year. October-November are killers because of High School Football and these are the months he averages abt 70 hrs per week. Earlier today we sat down to calendar . . . and this is the result of: Darik's schedule (work, elder's quorum, etc.), my schedule (part-time work, activity days, enrichment, etc.), foster kids' schedule (counseling, partial care 2x, visits with mom 2x, school stuff, etc.), and Ellie's schedule (only dance class and storytime now that we pulled her from preschool-it was nuts with preschool thrown in as well . . . ). I just thought I'd like to have this in my blog book to look back fondly on, maybe I will be busier in the future and think this is chump change . . . it will be fun to find out. I am just grateful it's not worse than it is (on a side note I forgot to mention I did get a new calling from Primary Teacher to Activity Day Leader - I used to want to be in Young Women's . . . but I think that would break the bank! So the Lord in his infinite wisdom is giving me something that I can handle better.)

  2. WOW. You're awesome! I'd be throwing in the towel just looking at the calendar each morning.
