My niece Brooke had her 11th bday party @ Deleta Skating last month. It's always takes me back in time when I'm there -- in Elementary they have 1 skating day at Deleta a month, even back when I was @ Tyhee. It was Ellie's first time skating. She loved it for about 30 minutes. Then was ready for the skates to come off. I put some skates on Stina, but she is drunk enough without skates . . . I had to immediately take them off her just to save her life. She was not happy with me, but I couldn't keep two toddlers alive on skates when I was the only one there to help (D was working that Saturday).

And there was face painting there -- but the chick was the slowest face painter on planet earth. So I told my kids I'd paint their faces when we got home. It worked out pretty good, Bubba loved his "skulls on fire".
You're pretty artsy, girl!! I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteAh Deleta, what memories! I can't believe how big those kids are looking, what cuties!
