Mom: Bedtime, go choose your jammies!
Ellie: Lays out two jammies. "Mom which do you choose?"
Mom: Well the orange one makes you daddy's sporty girl but the Christmas gown is soft and cozy and makes you look like a wrapped present. I choose the Christmas one.
Ellie: folds the Christmas jammies and puts them away in the drawer. "I'm sorry mom. That was not one of your choices. I will wait until you choose from your choices. ISU shirt or floor jammies?"
Mom: I choose ISU.
Ellie: Good choice, mom!
Why did I just get the feeling I'd been Love-and-Logick'd?
I love love love this post. I think it is so awesome when kids give parents choices and it is so hard to keep a straight face in the process!
