August 4, 2011 I got on a plane by myself and flew somewhere I had never seen before in my life.  Exactly one year later - I've got a hang of this Virginia thing. Virginia is certainly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been - and it's full of wonderful people whom we love dearly.  We (esp Ellie) hasn't had the easiest transition, but we breathed a sigh of relief when we arrived home from our tripS to Idaho and Ellie took a deep breath and said, "Ah, I'm so glad to be back home in Virginia.  Can stay home and not take any more trips?"  It was the first time Ellie had referred to Virginia being home.  It was a nice moment.
